Isdin nutraisdin zn40 repairing ointment is a repair and reparative ointment indicated for irritant diaper dermatitis. In that sense, it is recommended for babies with atopic, sensitive and delicate skin. That is, who need superior protective care.

In order to be used from birth, its formula is specifically designed to care for the diaper area. This means it protects the genital area and glutes of babies, while moisturizing intensely and harshly the delicate skin.

Its formula

For this purpose, this product combines astringent, repairing as well as moisturizing active ingredients that act effectively from the very first moment. It thus creates a protective barrier on the baby’s bottom, while regenerating the skin barrier. This is achieved through its unique composition:

• 40% zinc oxide (ZN 40) triple action. That is, this active will insulate the diaper area, creating an impassable barrier with ingredients that help prevent the growth of microorganisms and neutralize the enzymes responsible for epidermal irritation. In short, it moisturizes, protects and repairs.
• Dexpanthenol (1.5%) combined with shea butter, glycerin and anhydrous excipient, for an effective moisturizing and comforting action.

When you are changing your baby’s diaper, immediately after gently wiping and drying the genital area and/or buttocks apply a thin layer of the cream.
For use as protection apply as above at every diaper change.

However, if you want to use it as a repair treatment you should maintain the application for 2 to 3 days at each diaper change. In case irritation persists, I recommend you consult your pediatrician as soon as possible.
